Menswear Tips for the Woman in Drag

Observations of The World | September 2nd, 2008

In 2005, I used to work for Lili’s Burlesque, managing the stage, running sound, acted as the unofficial maitre ‘di and liaison between the patrons and performers. Some of the female patrons dressed in “male-drag.” I gave out much advice in my tenure, and the publisher of an on-line magazine — who was a regular at the club — suggested that I write a piece for them about my men’s fashion expertise.

The article comes from a website of an adult nature, and is geared toward feminist and lesbian sexuality, although the site itself isn’t vulgar or obscene.
