“Marquee Black” WordPress Theme

I’ve Changed My Mind

There shall be no release of this wordpress theme for these reasons:

two good friends, both with fairly decent HTML and CSS skills had trouble figuring out how to use the theme, both in the design “tweakage” and the content management. It wasn’t easy for me to explain the inner workings; my mind doesn’t work that way in technical matters, and I am not versed in simplifying things (as you can tell if you’ve read my posts).
As I’ve been thinking about this theme and how to implement it for general release, I have decided that I would rather not have other entertainers using the same design. Call me stingy, and I’ll agree.

There are so many better designers and coders than I am. I am an amateur designer. I shoot from the hip and rarely read the directional details about whatever I am working on. And my friends’ confusion at my unorthodox coding leads me to the conclusion that this theme unusable in the open market.

Since I have very few visitors to this site anyway, it makes no difference about the theme used in this website.

This is my own personal garden; the gate is open and all visitors are welcome, but the gate is like an overgrown, wild weevil hole amidst a small ivy colored back wall in a forgotten alley of a mostly deserted tract in the most desolate desert of Algore’s vast inter-web.

And I kinda like it that way.
